John Maltbie has served on the CCSD School Board since 2022. He is a lifelong Rockland County resident who has lived in Congers since 2000 with his wife Tina and daughter Gianna, who attends Clarkstown High School North (CHSN).

John is a graduate of North Rockland High School, New York University, and Brooklyn Law School and has over 25 years of litigation experience.

He is currently the Director of Intellectual Property for Louis Vuitton where he develops and implements brand protection and enforcement strategies for the U.S. and Canada; supervises staff, outside counsel, and investigators; and coordinates with law enforcement on anti-counterfeiting measures at the local and federal levels.

Dedicated to education and student opportunity, John also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Fordham Law School and a mentor for paralegal studies and law school students from a number of colleges and law schools. He regularly speaks on intellectual property issues to students and professional colleagues.

John was an active member of the Lakewood Elementary PTA and the Felix Festa Middle School PTA, and is currently a member of the CHSN PTSA and the CCSD Pride PTSA.
